If Army Regulation 670-1, dated 25 March 2017, remains in effect and is revised to remove Rote Course Credit and provide for the creation of new courses, a Cadet Advisor must ensure that the Cadet is notified in writing to ensure he is aware of the changes to Army Regulation 670-1. The Cadet Advisor must also ensure that the Army does not place an end time on the Rote Course Credit. Once the Cadet has received the notice of the revision and the change in Army regulation, the Cadet Advisor must ensure the cadet provides, as soon as possible after the Cadet Advisor receives the notice, his complete records documenting the Rote Course Credit (see US Army Cadet Command webpage). The cadet shall promptly sign the report (see US Army Cadet Command webpage). A copy of the completed Form 918A form, including all supporting evidence of Rote Course Credit, must also be provided to the Cadet Advisor when he receives the Cadet Advisor Report.
